My beautiful daughter graduated 8th grade, and is now a high schooler! Time has flown by. With these photos I chose a muted color palette with a little split toning. I wanted to achieve a look that says that time is passing in a vintage kind of way, but also to symbolize that she's turning into a woman. A classy young woman at that!! (And maybe a little sassy haha.) I love my children so much, and my daughter holds such a special place in my heart. She's maturing so gracefully, but she's also a young girl at heart.
These were taken with the Nikon 50mm at 1.4. I'm not quite pleased with the oval bokeh. This thing has 9 aperture blades, so it should really be rounded. Now that I've noticed it, I can't stop staring at it. UGH!!
Thanks for reading everyone!
